Natural Dwelling is a rare breed of company that provides historic restoration and preservation, new construction natural building, and traditional, historic, and sustainable plaster, renders, and coatings. Consulting services encompass the same. All our services seamlessly blend historic, natural, and traditional building techniques and methods with today’s conventional building systems. Being a collaborative and principals-driven company, the unique requirements and characteristics of each project become a source of inspiration and innovation.
Work is usually kept in-house, to ensure proper processes, techniques, and methods are used. When others are involved, we endeavor to educate and elevate all parties to the work at hand. And when a project, owner, or requirement calls for non-toxic, historic, traditional, sustainable, or local materials, our solutions are economically, equitably, ecologically, and elegantly enjoyed.
Projects have been done throughout the Intermountain West, and clients include History Colorado, The National Park Service, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen, Colonial Williamsburg, Crow Canyon Archeological Center, several towns, and many private parties across a dozen states.
